voter education
At Citizens Project, we want all residents to feel that they are making informed decisions at the ballot box. In addition to working with like-minded organizations to host issue and candidate forums throughout the Pikes Peak region, we produce the largest nonpartisan candidate survey and distribute it for free to all.
civic engagement
Our goal is for our state and local governments to fully represent the unique needs of all members of the Pikes Peak region. We do this by holding our elected officials accountable for the decisions being made on our behalf, as well as mobilizing the local community around issues related to equity, inclusion, and justice. We believe that voting is a fundamental part of civic engagement, but that this is only one element in a well-engaged community.
